Not Necessarily.

Refurbished products could have been returned to the store/manufacturer. That it could have been faulty. Packaging or casing was damaged.

Refurbished means that the product has been repaired, tested (and in some cases retested), to perform at or better than a new product. It might have signs of minor use (such as minor worn edges etc.) however the product has passed all expectations and specifications to work as or better then a new product.

Dell Monitor is better for gaming and has a built in camera (I recommend this one)

HP is a trusted brand for computers, computer parts/accessories.

Many times it is buyers remorse. They buy something, feel guilty and return it. Those things are usually labeled as ann open box sale, not refurbished. Either way, if the seller is reputable, they will give some sort of limited warranty on the product.

I was a loyal Circuit City buyer right up until they shut it down. So you can imagine my surprise when I got an email from C.C.! They're back! All be it in an online store only but I have already ordered a 19"Acer monitor that I am using right now. I paid $89.99 plus $1.99 shipping. They have a load of awesome deals on everything!

Maybe. refurbished means it has been put back into new condition by the manufacturer.

refurbished means it was in bad/damaged/or non-working condition then it got fixed.
