How to connect PC to TV in widescreen mode?

i bought a vga cable and I can only view the screen on the TV when I press Function+F8, this turns widescreen mode off.

How do I view it on my TV in widescreen mode?

Normal TVs don't use VGA cables... How about you tell us what you are using...

Hi There,



VGA does not support widescreen viewing. Even if you could adjust the TV to widescreen the images would be distorted.



If your laptop (?) has an HDMI port and your TV has an HDMI port you can use an HDMI cable (about $20.00) and the widescreen should work.



If your computer only has a VGA port then you will need a converted and an HDMI cable for widescreen.
