Can´t Connect Sony Vaio to Samsung tv?

Question

I wish to connect my sony vaio to a Samsung lcd tv from vga connector, but the signal is not recognized by the tv.
Please help me.

First, download and install Sony® VAIO® Event Service Update available at the Sony® PC Support Web site(www.esupport.sony.com)..next click start..go to My Programs..go to VAIO Central..click System Information tab..click + beside Display..double click plug and display..remove the check on Enable automatic output function..click ok..close Vaio Central window by clicking the x on the top right corner..that's it! Goodluck..hope it works..=)

Hook up the cable. Setup dual monitor mode. I mean where you set up resolution and stuff. Restart computer. Make sure cable should be plugged. It won't do it without restarting the computer.
