So, I haven't done this in awhile and I'm about to start again... Mainly I want to use dual-monitor, with one being my TV. I only want to use the TV for things like emulators and occasionally games; However the issue is I don't want to have to alt tab into the program for it to work... Is there anyway this to be possible with some program? I run Windows Vista. Tryin' to not have to build a miniature secondary system just to hook up to the TV.

I literally just want to be able to turn the TV to output 3; Open the program (ZSNES) something like that, pick up the controller (or someone else) and play while I do things on the computer.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Sorry, cannot be done because it requires too much interaction. Best you can do is to go into display properties and select a different profile when you want to use the TV.

Windows 7 makes this easier because of the Win+P key sequence which will let you dynamically switch monitor configuration to an external source.

unfortunately that is not possible, because that's the same thing as 2 separate pc or os system on at the exact time is what you are asking for. if you are doing something like a game or a website browser, someone else cant be doing anything on the other screen except things that auto play by itself with no interaction such as watching a movie. That is possible but for zsnes that isn't unless you wanna watch a video while your friend plays the game.

multiple liquid crystal show television have a pc jack. in simple terms seem at backs of tvs you want or study the specs to be certain if it has a VGA port. in case your pc has an HDMI out, you should use HD cables too.

with "extend" option from display properties, then run your game in windowed mode and just drag it over to the tv screen and then maximize it
