I have Dell OPTIPLEX 760 Desktop CPU with Dell 19'' LCD (Native resolution 1366 x 768). I have installed windows 8 Pro x64. I have visited dell support website many times for the display driver but I never found that. Even if I find a display driver, I can't get 1366 x 768 resolution in the resolution drop down menu. Please help me out.

Hi Arslan Mughal,

Dell has not tested Optiplex 760 system with Windows 8. For more information you may refer to link http://dell.to/YpI1pe

However, you may try installing the video drivers of your system in compatibility mode for Windows 7 and see if that helps. You may download the drivers from the following links :

- Chipset Driver : http://dell.to/1aT1wsf

- Video Driver : http://dell.to/13sjCLi

Once you have downloaded the drivers, you may follow the steps below to install them in compatibility mode :

• First install the chipset driver and then video driver

• Right Click the driver installation file and select Properties -- > Compatibility Tab

• Click Apply -- > OK

• Right Click the file and select the Run As Administrator option to install.

• Follow the on screen instructions and restart the system after the installation.

Once you have installed the drivers, you may try changing the resolution from Intel Control Panel. You may right click on desktop and click on Graphics Properties to access Intel Control Panel.

If you have a discrete video card installed on your system, you may download the desired drivers from Dell support site : http://dell.to/11iojrK -> Enter the service tag of your system -> Select the operating system -> Expand chipset and video and download/install the desired drivers.

Hope this helps.
