I recently got a new 23 inch monitor screen but when I put up an internet page it does not reach all the way to the edges. The web page is in the middle of the screen and there is 2 inches of white space on either side of it ( the page i am viewing ) The writing is small and web page small as well, does not fit into the monitor size. Is like watching a mvoie that is not made for widescreen tv. Help?

Since there are a lot more internet users with smaller screens, most web pages are designed to fit 1024x768 resolution.

I am also experiencing the same on my 19" 1440x900 screen. I just opted to increase font size. You can also increase icon size.

its just that. the page isn't formatted for your resolution. try toggling the zoom level until the text is readable.
