If you're using LCD monitor, press the Auto button to let the monitor configure it to correct size/resolution but if you're using CRT or monitor without this auto button, you need to configure it manually.

you need to use the Auto button on the monitor (sometimes listed as auto Adjust or Select Auto) this is on the buttons at the front of the monitor to access the OSD (On Screen Display) for the screen set up features.
this should re-centralise the image

the thoughts your searching for is going to be on your video card application placing (ie. ATI Catalyst, Nvidia administration Panel, or Intel pics administration Panel) below demonstrate settings. Been awhile because of the fact that I used ATI Catalyst so which you will ought to dig some there, yet interior the Intel administration Panel, click on demonstrate, then on the backside below SCALING you opt for the "custom element RATIO". undergo in thoughts that Intel's administration panel won't enable you scale it in some resolutions. if so you're able to ought to opt for a video decision and element ratio that fits the element ratio of your television or replace the television's element ratio to examine (which does no longer constantly paintings real). in case you have an Nvidia card then open the Nvidia administration Panel, strengthen demonstrate and decide "regulate very own laptop length AND place" and comply along with your liking.
