my desktop icons are missing?

my desktop icons have disappeared, it now says desktop on my toolbar/taskbar at the bottom of my screen, but i cant create new icons my screen only shows my wallpaper and taskbar at the bottom, please help!

right click on desktop,point arrange icons by,select show desktop icons

Try right clicking on your desktop, click arrange icons by, than make sure there is an arrow next to show desktop items. If nothing appears, you may have a virus of some sort. If you want to get rid of the desktop tool bar on your task bar, right click on task bar, go to tool bars, than unselect desktop. Hope this helps.

ahh. i know. don't worry, someone has probably accidently unchecked the icons on your desktop



its simple

1. right click on your wall paper area.

2. click "View" drop down menu

3. Look through the menu and find "show desktop icons, and click on that and your problem is solved!

try this thing..right click in ur desktop then click ARRANGE ICONS BY then click SHOW DESKTOP icon...now u can view ur desktop icons...
