My computer screen keeps flashing on and off it pising me off can anyone help me resolve my problem?

It is happening as i type this and im also having a problem with a debug assertion failed popup if you could help me with that too i would really appreciate it.

You just have to know it can be anything from a power supply to a Video card to any other part going bad, or a software problem... We need more information



Now as the other post has said you have an Anger problem if something as simple as that upsets you. John Lee has a good book out, "Facing the Fire: Experiencing and Expressing Anger Appropriately ". You should get a copy from the library.

I am by no means a computer expert. Do you have a DSL router? I ask because sometimes you must shut off the back of it and turn it back on again. Check all the connections and especially your monitor as they sometimes loosen up. Do you have defrag set up at least once a month and also how up-to-date is your virus protector? If you have a good virus protector, set them to run automatically. I can still work as my virus scan continues, or defrag, spyware,etc. run. Make sure you run the full scan. This is about all I can tell you ....sorry. The obvious would be the monitor connectors and the router if you have one. Good luck and stay calm. It is always better to get away from things that upset you for awhile and then come back and keep trying. You also might want to go into your control panel and look at the monitor from there.

I don't know a thing about computers & was here to ask my own computer question. I do know about psychology though so I can answer that part of your question. No one can piss you off. No computer can piss you off. Only you can piss you off cause you choice how to reacte....Sorry, I thought I was being funny & you are probably choosing to get even more pissed off. Someone will answer your question & you will no longer choose to be pissed off at that time for sure.
