Question:
When I maximize any window it hides the toolbar at the bottom. How can I change so the toolbar always shows?

When I hit the maximize button I'd like my windows to pop open to the full screen and fit in with the toolbar (like it does on my work computer). Operating on Windows XP Professional, and I've never seen this. The toolbar is locked, tried unlocking it, looking in display properties, toolbar properties, and can't find anything to make this happen. PLEASE HELP! and THANKS!!!!

Right click on the task bar (that's the toolbar at the bottom of the screen) and go to properties and uncheck 'auto hide task bar.'

I don't understand how the window can hide the taskbar. It sounds like the taskbar is set to auto-hide. If you right-click on the taskbar, go to properties, and uncheck the option that says "auto hide the taskbar", the taskbar will remain at the bottom of your screen. If that is not answering the problem, then I guess open internet explorer, but don't maximize it. While it is open, go to the bottom edge of the open window and cursor will change so that you can raise or lower the bottom edge of the window.

1) Right click the Taskbar.

2) If there is a tick next to "Lock the Taskbar" select it. This will unlock it. Else skip this step.

3) Right click the Taskbar then click on the "Properties" option.

4) make sure the third tab here is ticked. It should read " Keep the task bar on top of other windows".

Let me know if this works.

1)Right click on the task bar (bar with start button) and go to properties and uncheck 'auto hide task bar.'

OR

2) right click on window when minimized on task bar and click "always on top"... No other options are left..

OR

3) Check for any spyware effected your system...
