This is my 5th time asking this question on here. Nobody has been able to come up with an answer and of course Microsoft won't help. The computer has been rebuilt, originally had Windows vista. I upgraded to windows 7 but the problem with graphics still exists. I had the ATI graphics adjuster on it and removed it, but that didn't fix the problem. I can set the graphics to good graphics, but each time windows reboots it changes my graphics to poor quality and very dark. It will be fine when it first loads up but then it Auto adjusts the graphics and makes them very poor. My 7 year old $500 computer has better graphics than this 6 month old $1500 computer after windows gets done with the auto adjust. It's rated a 6.7 according to Microsoft for graphics quality, but why is it going to such poor quality? Basicly I just want it to not auto adjust and keep the settings that I set so at least the screen is somewhat acceptable. Please do not put something like "go to settings" That is a stupid answer and the guy that did that last time is a moron and shouldn't of gotten credit for answering a question. If it were that simple I would not be asking on here. A real answer only please or at least info on where I can go to get a real answer since I can't seem to get one anywhere. I've been attempting to get this problem resolved for 6 months now.

Could you add details on the card model?

It sounds like a driver problem, I would install a new driver for your card, but if you've been at it for 6 months chances are windows is just sucking again...

This has nothing to do with the question, but try linux while you wait - it may have better graphics than windows.

i dont exactly understand whats happening but have you tried uninstalling video drivers and then installing the latest for win 7 from ati website?

have you tried changing settings in both control panel and catalyst control center?

try a different videocard or onboard.

reinstalling might help.

Overclock your pics card. If it has a pics card. No home windows 7 won't upgrade your pics. Try MSI AFTERBURNER to overclock your pics card. then you definately might ought to examine the stableness of your procedure. 3DMark06 and 3DMark Vantage. All unfastened to make use of.
